Conformal Coating (also known as Three-Proof Coating or UV Coating)
This product is a low-viscosity, flowable fluid at room temperature. It is available in two types: UV-curable and moisture-curable. Under room temperature conditions, it cures through UV irradiation or moisture-induced crosslinking to form a tough, dry surface. The cured coating offers excellent high- and low-temperature resistance, weatherability, electrical insulation, and superior three-proof performance (moisture, salt spray, and mold resistance). It provides environmental and mechanical protection for printed circuit boards operating in harsh conditions, significantly extending the service life of components and circuits.
Application Process
Surface Preparation: Before application, clean the bonding surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, moisture (humidity), oil, or other contaminants.
Application: Apply the product directly to the area requiring reinforcement or bonding. Methods include dispensing, brushing, or coating.
Curing: Fully cure the coating using UV light. Mercury lamps or LED UV lamps can be used.
Storage and Usage
Recommended Storage Conditions: Store in a sealed, light-protected environment at 15–25°C with humidity below 70% RH.
Shelf Life: 6 months
Packaging: 30 mL per unit, or customized according to customer requirements
Curing Method: UV radiation curing
Curing Conditions: Wavelength selectable at 365 nm or 395 nm; curing energy not less than 3000 mJ/cm². For thicker coatings, extend exposure time accordingly.
Precautions
The bonding surface must be thoroughly cleaned to avoid air bubbles.
At least one side of the surface or interface must be UV-transparent to ensure proper curing.
This product is an ordinary chemical; avoid ingestion or contact with eyes, and direct skin contact is not recommended.
Keep away from sparks or open flames during use.
